When you place an order we collect: your name, email address, phone number, and delivery address. We also collect payment confirmation data (but not card numbers — those go directly to Stripe or PayPal). When you visit the site we may collect standard server logs including IP address, browser type, and pages visited.
To fulfil your order — process payment, arrange delivery, and send order confirmation and tracking information. To handle returns and warranty claims. To comply with legal obligations including tax records and fraud prevention. We do not use your data for marketing without your explicit consent, and we do not sell your data to third parties.
Processing your order data is necessary for the performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b)). Security logging is based on our legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)).
Stripe and PayPal — payment processing. They have their own privacy policies. Our delivery partners (DPD, Royal Mail) receive your name and address to deliver your order. Railway — our hosting provider, where order data is stored securely.
Order records are kept for 7 years to comply with HMRC requirements. You may request deletion of your personal data outside of this legal retention period.
Under UK GDPR you have the right to: access your personal data, correct inaccurate data, request deletion, object to processing, and request data portability. Email info@skadi-uk.com to exercise any of these rights — we will respond within 30 days.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
